A community stage, built by neighbors

We're a group of local volunteers who believe great theater belongs in every community, not just big cities. Each season we put together a mix of plays, musicals, and interactive murder mysteries, staffed entirely by people who do this because they love it directors, actors, stage crew, set builders, and everyone in between.

As a non-profit, ticket sales and member dues go straight back into producing our next show: scripts, sets, costumes, and keeping our performances accessible to the whole community.

Grasse River Players grew out of a shared love of local theater and a desire to give the community a place to gather, perform, and create together. Since then, our members have staged a wide range of productions from classic plays to full musicals to audience-favorite murder mysteries.

We're proud to keep community theater alive and growing here in Canton, and we're always looking for new members to help write the next chapter.
